The Big Three dominate Ontario's telecom landscape, but which one actually offers the best value? We did the research so you don't have to.

Internet: Bell Wins on Speed

Bell's fibre network delivers the fastest, most reliable internet in Ontario, with symmetrical upload/download speeds. But it's also the most expensive. Rogers comes second with its Ignite network, while Telus (via its eastern partnerships) offers competitive pricing in select areas.

Mobile: Telus Wins on Coverage

Telus has the best 5G coverage in Ontario, particularly outside major cities. Rogers has strong urban coverage, and Bell shares much of Telus's network infrastructure.

Price: They're All Overpriced

Here's the truth — the Big Three charge premium prices for plans that smaller carriers offer at 40-60% discounts. Brands like Public Mobile (Telus), Koodo (Telus), and Fido (Rogers) use the same networks but charge far less.

Customer Service: Rogers Improved Most

Rogers has invested heavily in customer service since their 2022 outage, now leading in satisfaction surveys. Bell ranks lowest in customer service metrics.

The GHUB Verdict

Don't limit yourself to the Big Three.
